About the BADAR-2-LM
BADAR-2-LM is the long-endurance, engine-powered version of the BADAR platform. With a 6-liter fuel capacity it stays airborne for 3 to 4 hours and carries up to 10 kg of payload, making it ideal for missions that need heavier sensors, wide-area coverage or long time over the target area.
Deployed by launcher or bungee catapult, it needs no runway. It cruises at 35–40 meters per second and operates at altitudes up to 4,500 meters. Standard satellite navigation gives 2-meter accuracy, and the camera-based navigation system raises positioning precision to centimeter level for demanding survey and monitoring work.
Applications
- Long-range surveillance and reconnaissance
- Large-area mapping and surveying
- Border and coastal monitoring
- Pipeline and infrastructure patrol
- Disaster assessment and emergency response
